The final version of Zorin OS 9 Business, an Ubuntu-based operating system aimed at Windows users who are switching over to Linux, has been released and is available for purchase.

It’s not easy to claim that you can emulate the Windows desktop for the users who want a smooth transition from one operating system to another, but Zorin OS is actually one of the few Linux distributions that can really pull this off.

Interestingly enough, Zorin OS developers didn’t just copy the entire look and feel of the Windows operating systems. They actually tried to make something different that would be able to accommodate everyone, both the Linux and Windows users.

The latest iteration of Zorin OS 9 is based on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr), the OS built by Canonical that was made available only a few months ago. Ubuntu 14.04 LTS is supported until 2019 and the Zorin OS devs have promised to do the same with their system.
