Red Hat is First to Deliver Java EE6 via Platform-as-a-Service with OpenShift

Red Hat OpenShift Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) now supports Java Enterprise Edition 6. With this new integration, OpenShift becomes the first PaaS in the industry to deliver Java Enterprise Edition (EE) 6, simplifying how application developers build and deploy Java in the cloud. Red Hat Submits Oracle 11gR2 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 Certification Test Results to Oracle

On August 9, Red Hat formally submitted to Oracle full certification test results of the Oracle 11gR2 database on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6. Oracle database certification is a self-certification program whereby operating system vendors perform extensive testing and submit the results to Oracle for audit and approval. Based on previous Oracle certification experiences, Red Hat expects certification of the 11gR2 database on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 to occur sometime in CYQ4 of this year. Learn more.
